"Prelude" a Concert by Holly Logan

Prelude

an introduction to something greater

 

 

In her first concert Ms. Logan will be restaging three pieces Dawn in the Midst

of Shadow (2011),  At the Line (2012), and  Internal Conversations (2014). She will be

creating two new pieces for the concert Solos in Three and the title piece Prelude.

With this concert being Ms. Logan's first dance endeavor as sole choreographer

and director, she felt the title would be fitting as she finds her voice as a young

artist. Prelude is a modern dance concert that will take the audience on a

journey of discovery, the concert centers around the idea of finding one's individual

voice. Each of the five pieces will explore the spectrum of how we as individuals and as a community discover who we are. The concert will feature four dancers Ciara McCormick, Ashleigh Claire Miller, Elizabeth Voiles, and Samantha Weissbach.
